The varsity lacrosse team improved its record to 3-0 early
in the season with victories over conference opponent Edgewater and district
opponent East Ridge on Friday and Monday, respectively.
The Warriors dominated both ends of the field in their
victories, scoring an obscene amount of goals on offense and allowing only one
goal scored against them.
In total, 16 different players notched goals in the two
games – including all 16 scoring in the victory over East Ridge, a school
record.
The dominating defense had little to worry about in both
games. They shutout Edgewater for nearly three quarters before allowing the
Eagles their lone goal and blanked the Knights on Monday.
A big week of games continues with a road match-up with
Timber Creek on Wednesday night. The Warriors have dropped their last two games
against the Wolves and have not defeated TC since 2013. On Friday, the Warriors
will head down south for a game against Martin County.
